Decided to treat myself and my sister visiting from Canada to a decent wooded Chardonnay last night since we were out celebrating a month of celebrations at Catch 22 Seaside Restaurant. Beautiful character, fully rounded profile, lovely hit of oak, a really noteworthy wine.
We were out in Darling last weekend, temperature of 35 degrees, felt like I was standing in front of an open oven in a tiny room with no windows. Surprising that such deliciousness cultivates in such extreme conditions.
